Jeroen Jacobs sinh ra tại Helmond/Hà Lan năm 1968 và sống và làm việc tại Berlin. Jeroen Jacobs was born in Helmond/Netherlands in 1968 and lives and works in Berlin. In his artistic practice, Jacobs develops working processes in which the inherent dynamics of the material and the energy of the sculptural action create a contradiction to the everyday understanding of materials. These processes are conceived in such a way that the tendency towards formlessness is not concealed or overcome, but made visible. Jacobs has exhibited internationally in numerous solo and group exhibitions and recently participated in an exhibition at KH Künstler:innenHaus Bremen. In 2024 he received the KUNSTFONDS_Grant for freelance visual artists. He has been teaching sculpture at the Berlin University of the Arts for several years.
