Daniel Kerkhoff (b. 1965) is a visual artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota whose art practice includes painting, drawing, mixed media, collage, sculpture, installation, photography, and community art. He studied drawing, painting, and collage at the Art Students of New York, NYC as well as with instructors in San Francisco (U.S.A), Kuki-shi (Japan), San Gimignano (Italy) and Kumasi (Ghana). Since 2009, he has been creating his own artist-in-residencies in Adugyama, Ghana, Sisid-anejo, Ecuador, and Hanoi, Vietnam. For these residencies, he embeds himself in a community, creates art and art installations, curates exhibitions, does art with children, meets with other artists, provides materials for libraries, documents and shares his experiences on social media, and does a variety of other actions of creating, witnessing, sharing, and connecting.
